Love this campground. Full hook ups. Good price. Pet friendly. The fishing ponds are great. Allows golf carts. Owner and manager very friendly and helpful. Swimming beach and playground. Propane, firewood, bait, misc camping supplies, shower house, all on site.
Loved this campground. The staff were beyond friendly. Adorable little store. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. Full hookups for a great price. It doesn’t have many kids events but the kiddos enjoyed the park and riding around the campground on their cars. There were a bunch of golf carts but everyone was very conscious of the kids. This place would be a rock star campground if it had a pool. The pond isn’t really our vibe and it could use some attention. The beach was, however, very nice.
We stayed here in our RoadTrek RV on a cross country road trip. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful. Service gets a 5! Bathroom left a lot to be desired. The women's shower had insufficient pressure for a satisfying shower, and the building was very ramshackle. It looked like it hasn't been repaired or updated since the 1970s. We were grateful for the shade and the electric plug-in on a very hot day and night. Worth an overnight stop when you need the electric.
Have been coming here 25 years + the owners are amazing, the grounds are beautiful with lots of ponds, one for swimming and others for fishing. Sites are good size (much bigger than some campgrounds we have been to). Golf carts are allowed for qualified drivers with insurance.
