Beautiful and well maintained campground. The restrooms were well maintained, kudos to the camp hosts! The beauty of the river running past the camp is hard to capture through a photo.
As of 2023 they still have potable water (one big hand pump at campsite 10). We've stayed here a couple times and it's a great spot right by the river. Some of the spots back up to the river which is also nice if you can snag one. It's all first come first served, so plan on getting there early if it's a holiday weekend.
Nice campsites, clean outhouse, lots of hiking. Biking on gravel roads. Scenic and calm despite the dude ranches.
Was expecting dinosaurs, but I didn’t see any the whole time (1.5 stars). And they were very loud all day. Encountered many cows.
26.00/ 29.00 per night to camp 😳
