Conestoga Ranch

Fortunately, we only booked one night. We were given a golfcart ride to our very cute tent on a rise with a view of the strip mall below. We enjoyed a fire and a five minute walk each way to the bathhouse. After 9:00 pm a family with two kids arrived in a tent barely 10 feet away. They then yelled at their kids for over two hours calling them every swear word possible. The kids cried for another hour. Every word was clearly heard. When they were finally quiet, 4 very drunk women returned from the bar to a tent 20 feet away. They were extremely loud and obnoxious. No one did anything about the noise. Very expensive for a very bad might of sleep.

The property has a lot of amenities included. If you had kids there would be lots to keep them busy. The restaurant had really good food and excellent service. The shared bathrooms were clean. All of the staff were very nice and the ride in the golf cart to your room is fun.

This whole place was a vibe! Customer service is on point from checking in with Gavin and the support from Brennan. Even Tim saw I had a tray water bottle in my hand when getting on the bike and offered to throw it out. Y’all check the box for being outdoors while having the luxury of a hotel! There is so much to do on property from bike rides, field games, play grounds, hammocks, volleyball, fire pit, etc that you never get bored. The proximity to the lake is the best! Whether you drive down or use one of the bikes you get to enjoy it all! This last minute trip we booked here was a total hit! To think we were going to do just a day trip , i am glad my wife said let’s stay the night and sent the link to book the last site available. (Video posted is a glimpse of the fun we had there)

For the price... It was okay at best for me. The bathrooms were disgusting. It looked like some sinks were used as toilets. There was trash overflowing in each bin and all over the floor. The floors were wet. It was very unsettling and uncomfortable. When I booked almost a year ago I specifically asked for a certain wagon and tent as my parents are very elderly and was told they could do my reservation as such and would put in notes in January for a August reservation. But none of that happened and they ended up putting my parents at the farthest away tent up on a hill very difficult to get to from anywhere unfortunately.

We loved our adventure at Conestoga Ranch. We stayed in the grand tent (family of 6). It was clean and comfortable and the stove heated the whole area within minutes (it was cold when we arrived). The staff was very attentive and started our fire, gave us a s'mores kit and made sure we had everything we needed. We were walking back from breakfast (which was very good and the staff amazing) and another staff member asked where we were staying. When we mentioned our tent name, she knew my first name and offered to get us anything we needed. Having the private bath was SO worth it. We would definitely consider coming back.
