This is a great campground/RV park. The location is fantastic; you're not far from anything you may want to see or do in Rochester, and you're surrounded by the Finger Lakes Region which is absolutely beautiful. They have a great store here, a pool, a great little store, really friendly campers/RVers and the staff is so wonderful you'd think they were the owners! They are highly invested in ensuring guests have a good experience. We'll be back at some point in the future.
This is a great place for family fun!!! My kids love the pool, and The staff there is amazing, we love grandma Betty!!! There's rentals galore, love the choice of a golf cart if you're really ready to relax!!! Amazing views, serenity I wasn't used to, and deer right off the camp sites!!! We absolutely love it there, everyone is so welcoming and nice!!
I went back and forth on this review all weekend. But in the end, I have to give it 2 stars. Pros: Quiet, peaceful, good staff and friendly neighbors. Good views, and lake is right across the street. Sites have gravel to pull the camper onto. Cons: We booked the first weekend they were open and not a single amenity was open or available for use. That was really disappointing as we wanted to spend a good amount of our time at the pool. Why even open this weekend if you're not going to have everything ready? The store was randomly open and closed. I went down hours before it was due to close to get firewood and it was apparently closed for the night. Getting anyone on the phone is difficult. I called several times before booking and after and could only get an answer once. The entire campground is built into a VERY steep hill. Walking anywhere is not a thing, especially with little kids. So just to go to the playground, we had to climb in the car. The sites are small and nothing to write home about. Overall, just not a great experience. We will not be back.
We have spent that last two summers renting their cabins, and let me say these are better then cabins and more like mini homes. Great place to spend the weekend, swim off the dock, rent a pontoon boat and explore the area! Highly recommend Conesus lake campground. It is truly a fantastic place.
We have been looking for a seasonal site for close to 2 years. We just happened upon this Conesus Lake Campgrounds and hit the lotto with this family owned gem. When touring many of the seasonal campers had very positive reviews of the current owners. Just the last few weeks we have seen many new improvements. The paved portions of the roads are very nice. It adds a sense of quality lacking in some other places. The camp store is very reasonable in the pricing. Every employee so far has been helpful and personable.
