Customer Reviews
Beautiful campground, best sites are 34, 41, and 42 for the unobstructed views of Pikes Peak. No water or sewer hookups, get potable water at the dump station on your way in. Crowded dump station if checking out around noon on a Sunday. Paved roads to ride bikes or hoverboards. Vault toilets are near the circle drive between campsites 41-44ish. Quite hill to walk if you're elderly from the other sites - as well as elevation at 9,750.
Love the hikes! Great visitor center with helpful staff. Fresh drinking water near sites for easy fill ups.
The good reviews are well deserved. Please be aware that you are at 9500 + FT altitude. You may have difficulty breathing.
