Stayed for two nights in our Class C. We were greeted very nicely on arrival and escorted to our site. Check in was quick and easy. The sites are a bit close but everyone was friendly and the road noise was minimal. We really appreciated the pet friendly but controlled environment. We could take our dogs out without worrying about other dogs being off leash. The field next door is huge and our girls had plenty of room to explore. The park is very clean and well maintained. The dog wash looks great but we ran out of time to use it. Close to Springfield so we’ll be back for our future trips.
The sites are close together but there is nice grass between the sites and a lot of opening in the front and back. And we had nobody in one side so that was really nice. The staff is very helpful and nice. David showed us our site and he even offered to help us to get set up. We were very welcomed! There is a huge field ( maybe 20 acres) they call it a pet exercise field, very well maintained with easy access and paths where we could bring our dog on long walks. Laundry available, really appreciated. The park rules were written with some humor to try to make you laugh that we did! We enjoyed our stay and we will be back
Very nice people. Very helpful & friendly. No frills RV park but works for us...50 amp full hookup. Our 40 ft diesel class A fits nicely into a back in site. Enough room for our 3 slides & awning.
If you’re looking for a friendly quiet place to stay, this is it! The staff here is incredible! We got in late Friday and they greeted us with smiling faces and helped us in with flashlights. The facilities are clean. The park is clean. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again!
The only negative I can say is that the sites are small and close together. The place is clean and well maintained, quiet and safe. The showers are great, the bathroom clean. There is a cute book nook in the back laundry and a puzzle in the front by the office. The location was great for us! And the staff is SO nice. We were a hot mess and they were so kind and understanding. Our truck broke down on the way in and we weren't sure when we were going to have the vehicle fixed so they gave us a late checkout which allowed us to get the vehicle from the dealer. At one point my wife locked herself out of the camper while I was at work in the office and he had some spare keys that let her back in and I didn't have to leave work. This will be the only place I stay when I come to Springfield.
