Wow, what an awesome campground! My family and I stayed the weekend in the “tent electric” only sites, which offered us access down to our own private little beach that we were able to fish from all morning and evening. Bathrooms were clean and new; however, they should have added showers in them, as the next shower is a bit of a hike, “especially after a long day walking.” The boat ramp is free if you are camping, which we made use of during our time; however, again, be prepared for a hike back to the park or to pick up the truck and trailer. No joke, it’s a HIKE! They have multiple options to choose from when it comes to campsites, even buddy sites where two people can share a site together, and it’s larger. Reserve online or download the reservation.gov app and make sure to look at the photos of the campsites and read each location’s description before deciding. We really enjoyed ours! Photos taken are views from the tent down to Lake Shelbyville.
Nice space between sites. Great views of the Lake Shelbyville. Nice roadways to sites. Many wineries nearby. Shower houses available. Our ste had electric only but we survide. Very quiet at night..
Absolutely wonderful campsites! Very nice people that work at the check in cabin! We will definitely be going back to camp there again!! ❤❤
Everything right with this campsite Plenty of choices for sites. Separation between campers. Flush toilets! Shower. On a beautiful lake with boat ramp and beach. Playground. Friendly staff. Also with my National Park senior pass I got 1/2 off. There's even a camp store right outside the entrance
Full hookups with beautiful location and plenty of room. Lake Shelbyville is perfect for all water recreation activities. Plenty to do in the area as well.
We were there over Memorial Day weekend. One of the busiest weekends of the year in the RV world and it never felt overcrowded. The bathrooms were clean. The beach was clean life preservers were there if you wanted to borrow one my bride and I enjoyed it.
Let me take back HOW terrible this is we have NO any power food in fridge so hope it comes back on soon… not fun place, peaceful and relaxing great boat launch and camp sites happened to have several groups of children walking and exploring with the Park Range so happy to see them doing this with them! hope we get a call or help from someone at camp site!
We loved it ! the view was great at site 96 it’s quite and peaceful ! I wish I would have known RC cars ect was allowed but we has a great time walking !
Beautiful campground we will be back soon loved it spent Memorial Day weekend out here for my birthday and we loved it!
