Customer Reviews
Absolutely amazing views & fun for the entire family! Employees are super friendly and helpful. The residents on the street we rented our cabin on are truly one of a kind. There was a horrible storm early this morning that downed trees and power lines. As my wife and I walked to check on our neighbors to be sure everyone was ok, we were greeted by everyone who lives here who were out to check on us and each other. Truly a neighbor helping neighbor as if you're family here. We are going to miss this place. From our family to yours, thank you for letting us enjoy where you call home. We will be back as soon as we can be. We would love to live here, that's how amazing of an impression this place and the locals gave us :-)
There is something about this place that is missed in modern society. Everyone waves to you. The locals will tell you where to fish and what bait to use (truthfully!). They will go out of their way to make you feel at home. Honestly... If I was selfish, I would keep this place to myself. But it should be known. This place is special. You should at least rent a cabin for the weekend. Then you'll consider staying longer, and think about buying one like I am at the moment.
It is an amazing place!! The cabin is beautiful and the scenery is amazing!! The river ran behind the back deck for amazing sight and sounds!! The deer running around was an extra added bonus!! Perfect for relaxing!!
For a resort, it has good privacy. Otter Run Cabin had river access and a 2 car garage. Wildlife everywhere, deer would just wander into the yard. Only problem, hard to get around due to the roads following the terrain around the hills and valleys. Also the river was high and fairly muddy due to a lot of rain the week before. Despite this, would go again.
My daughter and I did tubing down the river during the summer. It was a relaxing beautiful thing. I'm so glad we did it and will do so next summer. Everyone at the coosawatee resort is so nice.
