Been loving it ! Weather has been quite warm going on 8 pm and it's still 86 degrees . Campground is very clean as so are the bathroom /showers despite the flooding of Lower campground ,full of very Informative friendly people . They all seem to have a smile on there face and after 2 days here I can see why it is beautiful and a lot to see by vehicle , bike or on foot ! I'd recommend this campground and love to meet up with my adult kids and spend the summer ~

My favorite place to spend time over there during summer. They have great fishing area in addition to fish cleaning station in case you would like to eat fish. Beach is amazing, sandy beach is accessible with parking for reasonable price about $10 per car. If you are camping over there, beach parking is free but don’t forget to get the permit before you go over there. Area serviced well.

Had alot of fun fishing with my best friend and suggests fishing at Coralville dam and near the damage if you have a good river pole and enough sinkers on your line and really good fishing line I just upgrade my fishing line to braided line this year can't wait to test it out to see if it will snap off easy then regular fishing line does good luck to all you fisher man and wamon and children and Goodluck to you all. Stay safe and okay the DNR LAWS WHILE YOU ARE FISHING ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

The spillway is a bit high. Seems like there weren't very many eagles or very many other birds, except some geese.
