This campground has beautiful views and is well maintained, right outside of Cortez. The people who run it are lovely - we asked to full up our camper van water tank at one of their spigots and offered to pay - they wouldn’t accept payment and didn’t hesitate to let us fill up. This seems like a small favor but we weren’t granted the same courtesy at the three previous places we stopped at before. Thanks for your kindness 🫶🏽
Christina and her husband are amazing! They are kind, helpful and friendly. So refreshing for excellent customer service. They made us feel welcome right away. We only needed one night, but happy we stayed here. Site was awesome, park is clean, trees are beautiful.
Cortez RV was a real oasis for us as our truck broke down and we were dealing with that in the midst of our two month trip. They were accommodating at a last minute arrival. Gave us a great pull site with a perfect view of the pond. A great way to calm a wild day. Great location in Cortez. Nice and quiet too.
Typically I will book one or two nights to check out accommodations for our camping. We pulled in, got out and met Dalton then immediately booked a week. Our awning had come off on one side and caused damage to our trailer. Dalton came to our site with tools and a ladder to help us out. Dalton and his family, including pups, were so kind and welcoming it was awesome. The laundry and bathhouse were clean, and attractive. And it was very inexpensive, especially for a campground this nice.
This has been one of the best RV parks that my fiance and I have ever stayed at! The gentleman that just left two. One star reviews was actually dumping his black tank on the ground in the middle of the campground and he had buckets of feces just chilling by the trailer and he was a nuisance to everyone around and nobody felt comfortable with him being here. As for the pool, it is a wonderful pool. Heated pool very clean! Management staff that are running the RV park this season have been truly amazing wholehearted people that want to run a good clean campground. That gentleman also had to be escorted off the premises by police officers that gives you any insight to the kind of person that that is.
