Camp area is clean. Few areas could be cleared for additional camping but has boat ramp and the other campers mind thier own business will camp here again...
I love seclusion and rustic when I camp. Why camp if your sites are stacked against each other? Now grant it, if ya don't like dark at night, or don't like silence, then don't come here. But, if you love wilderness, the woods, a river out front, then go here. Please, please pickup after yourselves.
It was so secluded I got scared thinking someone could come out of the woods at any moment and slaughter me. My boyfriend loved it for some reason but this place was in the middle of nowhere with no signal or electric or anything. My nerves were shot thinking about staying there. If you're looking for off the grid camping it's perfect but if you watch too many scary movies about the woods then stay far away cause you'll get freaked out too. Lol
Remote and wonderful. Underutilized site at the edge of the Apalachicola Floodplain.
This place floods faster than you collect up your stuff and get out...was overrun with racoons and skunks and a skunk got in the tent when someone got up in the middle of the night. I'd stay at the nicer camp that has a shower facility.
