Great camping place for a couple days in the lake.. not a ton of tree coverage at the campsites but you can find some by the lake itself. The campsites are decently spaced so I didn’t hear any other campers, granted my stay was on a tues-thurs so keep that in mind. I’m giving it 4 stars because you pay $12 a night and all you get is a few poorly cared for vault toilets.. I think if people are paying money, even small amounts take care of the facilities we’re paying for..

the lake is great, worst camping, typical inconsiderate lake campers.. world revolves around them and we just live in it. up all night! my site and others lots of trash left in the fire pits and round camp. no wonder land management keeps shutting places down, people are disgusting and the worst. I def would not stay here again

Great place to swim, fish, and camp. Only downside is that there is not much in the way of shade. They should building more canopies to provide shade.
