We stayed in spot #10. Very peaceful. Road noise was minimal. Friendly staff. Close to Ape Caves etc. Lots of lakes around but it was very rainy on our visit.
Beautiful campground, spaced well. Very chill. Here on a busy weekend and everyone has been so considerate/nice. We arrived late but we're not turned away. Very nice on site management. Five stars cos it's clean, affordable, convenient, and right down the street from shops/the lake. Great stay!
A nice family-owned RV park right outside the town of Cougar. Owners live on-site. I checked availability late in the evening and did a self check-in, which is great for late arrivals. Showers and laundry are coin operated. The office has camping supplies in case you forgot something as well as souvenirs, some made by local crafts persons. I was in the section overlooking overflow camping with no one around me. Very nice well-kept grounds. This stay was last July. Would definitely stay again.
This was an amazing place! Loved all the huge old trees and the silence! Easy pull through spaces for RV's and beautiful grassy areas for tents ⛺️ Hot showers and restrooms, wifi, and even a little store in case you forgot something. The owners are friendly and very helpful. I'm coming back again next year!
My dad and I stayed here for our Mt St Helen’s hike. Prior to our hike I was emailing back and fourth with Stacy (possible owner). She was so kind and reassured me she saved us our campsite. When we arrived I met her in person. She was so kind! She gave us information and a map so we were prepared for the hike. The morning after our hike we went in to get some coffees. She remembered we were going on a hike and said she was watching out for us. She said that if we didn’t return she had help on standby to send for us. I thought that was very genuine of her. We told her about the hike and some of the issues we faced. She said she was even going to inform the correct people to see if changes could be made. She was a great source of information and a true kind person. I will definitely recommend this campsite!
