I recommend this place to everyone, my family and I have been coming and relaxing with campground for the past five years. Specially TJ, this man really loves his job and is always happy and ready to help anyone with his experience, I’m browsing through other reviews, I can say one thing, you can’t please everyone, there are so many people, there are so many opinions, specially, for weather. My family and I are driving from the other side of the state, more than 4 hours, but it’s worth it. And the same goes for the prices, they are some of the best in the area The lake is clear as a drop, we’ve never been left without a catch, if you want to have a good time, this is the place for you, quiet, calm, cozy, like home, We’ve also rented a place for a tent and rented a Mobile, my family and loved ones are very happy, and I always recommend this place to all my friends, It’s one of the best, we’ve been here, we’re going and we’ll go this campground Also have little store boat ramp playground parking spots, camping tables, fire pit The owner put his heart in this campground I will be back next year for sure

My husband and I had the best experience staying at Coulee Lodge Resort! Everyone staying there is super friendly and it feels like a welcoming community. TJ, his son Zach, and Abby who all work there were incredible and went above and beyond making us feel comfortable during our stay. The sites are nice and the lake view is breathtaking! We had really good fishing nearby too! We are devoted to coming back every year! Thank you for everything, see you guys next year!! 😊

Dangerous Experience with Campground Host I recently had a very unpleasant experience at Coulee Lodge Resort that I feel compelled to share. As I was leaving the campground, the host suddenly started chasing my vehicle, weaving in and out of traffic almost running my wife off the road and almost hitting another driver in a head on collision. When it was safe to do so I pulled over and the host proceeded to scream at me in front of my 3 year old son over $142 that I owed him. Which, rightfully so, scared my son. Come to find out there was a miscommunication with the office staff. We had confirmed with the woman in the office the day prior that we were paid up but I guess it had not been entered. While I understand the need for campgrounds to ensure payment is collected, this situation escalated to a dangerous level for my wife, child, him and myself. Considering we drove right past him on our way out, he could have simply waved us down as we were headed out, or maybe just called us. The decision to put everyone involved into a dangerous situation was made. This is unacceptable. While I understand that collecting fees is important, I believe that there should be a more organized and safer method of doing so. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth regarding my otherwise enjoyable stay. I hope the management considers implementing a more efficient payment system in the future to prevent such dangerous situations from happening again. In summary, while the campground itself was pleasant, the aggressive chase for payment left me feeling uneasy and frustrated. I would normally recommend a place like Coulee Lodge Resort , but with the concerning method of collecting fees I wouldn’t say it is a safe place to be.

I wasn’t sure what to expect as some of the reviews were mixed; but my family and I enjoyed ourselves. We’ve never camped lakeside so the view was a treat. I met the owner at check in and he was really nice and welcoming. Grant County has an annual burn ban, regardless of weather; so we were disappointed that we couldn’t have a traditional fire. However they have propane fire pits available for rent, which was nice! it was too cold and windy for the kids to swim but they enjoyed learning how to fish. The restrooms were clean and the grounds have pay for use showers available. It’s a bit of a drive for us but we will be adding it to our camp list 🏕️

This is my favorite place on Earth truly. Been coming here my whole life. Not only is it beautiful here, the people who own the camp ground/ resort are some of the kindest people I’ve personally met. Please do everyone a favor and clean up after yourself and leave where ever you stayed nicer than when you got there. You won’t regret coming here.
