This Campground is probably the nicest, cleanest Campground I've been to in many years. The staff is awesome, polite, and dedicated. Everyone one there takes pride in the Campground. We were there in October and as soon as I got home I booked a trip for June 2025. We can't wait to go back. The location is so close to all kinds of activities.
We have been here a few times over the past 3 years. This uear we had an unexpected breakdown, while hit hing up at our campsite. We went to the office, and Kathy, the property manager, was absolutely USELESS. Her only concern was that the campground was full for that night, which was, and I quote, "Good for them." She did give us 2 names to call, but they were too busy to send assistance. She did not give one hoot about helping us to find another site for that evening. We will never camp there again. The views were great, the sites were great, but the customer service was HORRIBLE.
Had a great stay for a long Thanksgiving weekend. Weather could have cooperated alittle better, but hey that's camping. Hope to make some return trips in 2025 as 2024 camping season is complete. Sites were nice and had plenty of room for activities. Thankyou Country Acres.
Just back from another delightful stay at Country Acres. When we visit the Lancaster area we usually are out and about and don't need a lot of fancy amenities to keep us busy. Saying that, any time we have stayed here, the property is very well manicured and clean. It was hot this weekend, so we did enjoy the pool, which had plenty of tables and seating to keep your stuff high and dry and also well taken care of. The staff has always been very delightful to deal with, either over the phone making reservations or in person when we get to the campground. Stayed in a "standard rig site with cable" The site was plenty wide, nice gravel base and almost perfectly level. Nice, well maintained picnic table and fire ring. Always enjoy our stays at Country Acres.
As a campground it was extremely well run. Clean and neat providing suburban camping. Suburban because a highway is very close. Also however it is located close to sought after Lancaster Pa. Attractions and restaurants.
