Overall nice place and a good price. The dog park was big and well kept. Pool & Playground could definitely use some updating and TLC with equipment. Staff was super friendly, but there were a lot of smokers and an ashtray/smoking station within the pool area really threw me off. Not on the top of my list for places to revisit, but not a bad experience overall.
Our camp week with our 4 grandkids was wonderful. Our grandkids reviews included-the staff were all so friendly, especially the driver that took us to the Rum River tubing, he was very funny. The tubing down the river was great, especially the rope swing over the river and dropping into the water. The heated pool and splash pad was a highlight. The campsite had plenty of room for our 4 little tents, RV, and badminton set.
Everyone here is so sweet and they care so much about their guests. The sites are beautiful and huge. The pool area and bathrooms are kept really clean. The store has everything you forgot for really reasonable prices. It's nice that they include activities for guests. My family will definitely be back again and again.
We went in early May and loved it. Kids: heated pool, playground, toys in the gift shop, arcade room and big sand box by check in. Showers/ bathrooms: 1. Great facilities with multiple showers & Bathrooms. Also had outdoor showers along with a bathroom/shower in the pool area. 2. The bathrooms by our camp site were Biffys like structures however were pleasantly surprised to see a nice white, clean bathroom with a sink. Nice touch!! Reserved spot: nice with a cement slab, picnic table and fire ring. Seasonal guests: kids were nice to my kiddos, adults can be found playing light up bocce ball (amazon has it and yes, I already bought my set 😂) which was fun to watch and everyone said hello. Dump station right by checkin. Easy process. Only negative was a lot of pine needles and cones in our rented spot. We created a game for the kids on who could pick up the most. Problem solved. 👍 We recommend.
The campground was very nice. Lots of Family Fun to be had at the pool and splash pad. Campsite was large and there was room for all of us to camp at one site. I was not impressed by the owner. Very crabby man. Let’s hope you never have any problems like getting locked in the public restroom. Deadbolt latched and door needed to removed. He was a real jerk about it!
