Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Ocala Southwest

Staff was nice at check in. The reviews don’t lie though. This is the worst country inn I’ve ever stayed at, usually they are very comfortable and clean. This location you can tell is pretty old, it has a musty smell all over that’s being masked by some type of strong fragrance. The room was very underwhelming I booked a king suite with sofa. There was no sofa. The room is kinda empty feeling like there’s just a few random pieces of furniture thrown in here. The road noise is actually insane, it’s so loud I kept thinking the window was open. Also the bed is very uncomfortable not to mention the worst part of all I had a flea jump on my hand while I was laying in bed, I haven’t been around and dogs or animals in over a week. So that was kind of concerning. The 2 chairs that were in my room instead of the sofa also looked nasty had something stayed on them so I only sat on the also dirty computer chair and flea bed. I didn’t see any mold but my room did look pretty freshly painted.

Excellent Location! Excellent Check-in Staff! Excellent Breakfast! Excellent Overnight Stay! The BEST Choice Privileges Hotel I’ve stayed in (except for one in Savannah.). The phone receptionist was more than courteous and helpful in booking the right hotel for me and, although the carpeting and furniture were not top quality, this hotel will suit your needs. I was so disappointed in former Choice Hotels that I was ready to unsubscribe my membership. This hotel and the staff I interacted with changed my mind. Thanks!

Breakfast was disappointing. One hour after breakfast started- cold ham, 5 cold tater tots and toaster broken. Attendant was not in a hurry to restock items. Hot tub in the room was broken. Handle came off in my hand and water was lukewarm at best. One positive is the parking lot is well lit at night.

The staff was friendly and location was ok (hard to find entrance) but the hotel is AWFUL. The room stunk of smoke and mildew, bad enough that my allergies are a mess. The carpet in hallway had clearly been wet as it is all wrinkled up and there was a dehumidifier in hallway. The indoor pool (the reason we stayed here) had 1 chair to sit at and it was broken, no other seats and a few random tables. It was not a pleasant experience. We were there because my daughter wanted to swim for her bday and it’s cold outside but never ever again. For the price I expected it to be clean at least

Not even.. 1 Full night’s rest… up now at 4-5am because of the poor beds‼️ My lower back is killing me. Awaiting to call my chiropractor for a back adjustment. Should be ashamed of this. Furthermore , the housekeepers, of course, non-American & doesn’t speak English. They are No help. They trying to communicate to see if you desire service, instead of just doing their jobs ‼️ Hired Only for looks. I’m sure this is Why Trump… desires deportations‼️ 👍🏻 Not necessarily I would pay for another evening .
