We stayed recently, specifically on New Year’s Eve! First we were unaware that they were renovating the hotel. Which is fine. Check in was good and the lady was friendly. Rooms were clean and bathrooms have been updated but you can tell not completely finished. I have 3 complaints. First there was a dog that barked most of the night, and the person next to us had their tv loud all night. So we didn’t get much rest. The next morning we go down for breakfast and the lady who runs it was just miserable! We greeted her with Happy New Year and nothing. We asked her where something’s were and she was very short with her answers and rude. If you are in customer service try to be nice to the people that come through daily. If you can’t be nice then maybe customer service is not for you. Lastly this place has a lot of potential but having homeless people laying on the front bench is definitely an eye soar. I feel for the homeless and feel our country should do better but this was sad to see on a cold night and having your kids ask questions on why they are sleeping outside and not inside. And it was very nice of the young lady at the desk allowing the homeless lady use the bathroom. I only gave them a 3 more because of the rudeness from the lady at the breakfast area.

They are in the process of renovating but the room we stayed in was very nice, clean and up to date. The staff was friendly and the free breakfast was pretty good. The hotel is conveniently located close to 95 and they are pet friendly. Fair pricing, even on the weekend and way better rates than some of the older hotels on beachside.

I didn’t have a single problem here. Badly needed a nice place to return to after work, as came down here for hurricane recovery work and was exhausted by it. Front desk staff were all LITERAL ANGELS. Happy to assist me with whatever I had going on. Housekeeping cool and funny too. Very comfortable rooms and beds. They are serious about keeping it clean ie pest-free here. The only issue I had at this location was locking myself out of my darn work truck, and that’s on me. I would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Paid $192 to stay here. Room was fine, clean and comfortable. The rest of the hotel is a wreck. No mention when we booked of the place being completely under construction. Checked in at a random room on the first floor as the lobby is closed. Breakfast was subpar to say the least. No fruit left, no regular coffee (only decaf or bold) in the whole hotel, hardly any baked goods left, and the waffle batter was so watered down it only made an inedible shell of a waffle and a bunch of steam. Hot tub didn’t work, covered area of the pool deck is closed. I honestly can’t believe we paid this much for what is basically a roadside motel under construction. I 100% blame the owner for the decision to not just close and remodel, but instead to force the staff to figure out how to make this place run properly. At least offer a reduced rate for the inconvenience of dealing with this nonsense.
