Country Quiet RV & Campground Introduce

Country Quiet RV & Campground, operating firmly within the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, is a well-regarded destination for those seeking a tranquil and family-friendly outdoor experience in northwestern Wisconsin. Located near Cumberland and Barronett, this campground lives up to its name by offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life, while still providing convenient access to local attractions and essential services. It caters to a wide range of campers, from those with large RVs to tent campers and even those interested in seasonal stays, making it a versatile choice for a memorable getaway.

The environment at Country Quiet RV & Campground is characterized by its quiet, rural setting. Situated on relatively flat terrain, it offers a pleasing mix of open fields and scattered wooded areas, providing both sunny and shaded sites. This allows campers to choose a spot that best suits their preference for sun exposure or natural shade. The surrounding landscape of Barron County, Wisconsin, features rolling agricultural lands interspersed with pockets of forest, contributing to the "country quiet" atmosphere. The area experiences distinct seasons, with comfortable temperatures in summer typically ranging up to 80°F, ideal for outdoor activities, and colder winters. While not directly on a major body of water, the campground is conveniently located near various lakes, including the scenic Beaver Dam Lake, offering opportunities for water-based recreation just a short drive away. The well-maintained grounds and spacious sites contribute to the overall peaceful ambiance, making it an excellent choice for those who prioritize a relaxed and uncrowded camping experience. Unlike more rustic campgrounds, Country Quiet provides a manicured environment while retaining a natural feel, ensuring a comfortable and visually appealing setting for all visitors.

The services at Country Quiet RV & Campground are comprehensive, designed to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free stay for both short-term visitors and seasonal campers. For RV and trailer campers, a significant number of sites offer full hookups, including water, electric (30 and 50 amp options), and sewer connections. This is a crucial amenity for modern RVs, providing all the conveniences of home. Tent campers also have dedicated sites, some of which may include water and electric access, allowing for a more comfortable tenting experience than primitive sites. Each campsite is typically equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring, perfect for outdoor meals and evening campfires. The campground provides clean restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers, which are essential for a pleasant camping trip. A sanitary dump station is also available on-site for RVs. For convenience, Country Quiet RV & Campground has an office or store where campers can purchase essential items. Notably, they sell firewood, adhering to policies that prohibit outside firewood to prevent the spread of invasive species like gypsy moth, ash borer, and oak wilt, demonstrating their commitment to preserving the local environment. Wi-Fi access is also available, allowing guests to stay connected during their stay. The presence of friendly and helpful staff contributes significantly to the positive experience, offering assistance and ensuring a smooth check-in and stay. Laundry facilities may also be available, providing an added convenience for longer visits.

The features of Country Quiet RV & Campground are geared towards creating a welcoming and entertaining environment for families and individuals seeking a relaxed outdoor experience. A key feature is its family-friendly atmosphere, explicitly stated as a "family campground, not a drinking/partying campground," with a strict policy against drunken or disorderly conduct, ensuring a respectful environment for all. For younger campers, a well-maintained playground provides a safe and engaging space for children to play. The spacious layout of the campground allows for various activities, and the easy loop system makes navigation simple for all types of vehicles. While not boasting a swimming pool directly on-site, its proximity to various lakes means swimming, fishing, and boating opportunities are readily accessible within a short drive. The area's flat terrain and mix of open fields and wooded areas make it suitable for walking, biking, and gentle exploration. For those interested in regional exploration, the campground's location provides convenient access to nearby attractions. The Ice Age National Scenic Trail is in the vicinity, offering opportunities for hiking and nature walks. Other nearby activities often include fishing, and for licensed hunters, hunting opportunities may be available in designated areas within a reasonable distance. The emphasis on a "quiet" environment means that noise control is a priority, with designated quiet hours from 10 PM to 9 AM, ensuring a peaceful night's rest for all campers. Pets are welcome at the campground, provided they are kept on a leash at all times and owners pick up after them, making it an inclusive destination for furry family members.

Love this place! My summertime home away from home for the last 13 years! Best memories made with my family. I have recommended to friends and family who have spent much time here as well. Family campground with activities and great people. Many things to do locally, with Silver Lake so close by. Austin and Paige have helped so much with great new activities and improved online presence. Very easy to communicate with.

Family friendly campground. Relaxing environment, friendly campers and owners. I honestly consider Country Quiet our summer family. We have been here for 10 years seasonally and before that would stay at weekend sites. There isn’t a pool or bar, but Crystal clear Silver lake is walking distance away, the store is stocked with beer, ice, basic groceries, and don’t forget delicious Cedar Crest ice cream! You can do laundry if your here for a long week or borrow choose a movie from the huge collection in the office. There are 2 comfortable (and reasonably priced) cabins to rent, 6 rentable RV /tent sites and over a hundred seasonal campers. Seasonal sites are spacious and have personality. There are lots of planned activities through out the season like live music, bingo, various crafting activities for adults and kids, cribbage tournaments, bean bag tournaments, golf cart parades, Halloween in the park, pancake breakfast , and so much more! Don’t hesitate if you are on the fence!

I look forward to every weekend that we get the chance to stay at our home away from home. A great place to gather and share good times with family and friends, and make new memories. Austin and Paige have done a great job since taking over. They've introduced new activities for young and old alike, as well as kept many of the old traditions that have been camper favorites for years. (Welcome back breakfast, karaoke, fireworks).
