We have been camping at country roads on and off for 20 years. Kelly and Brian the owner's take great pride in their campground. It is very well maintained and clean. Pool is always clean. They have rules that they stick by. Always very accommodating and friendly. Beautiful country area and quite.
Nice, clean, well maintained campground. Owners are very nice people. Family friendly with a pool, I chose a more secluded spot which was very quiet surrounded by dense woods. Wild turkeys were walking behind my campsite each morning. Highly recommend.
Country Roads is a hidden gem! If you're looking to kick back and veg for a bit, this is the place. No traffic noise! Terrific and extremely hospitable owners. Nice pool and a large area for lawn games such as volleyball, soccer, and there's a basketball net. We spent a week there which was our second time there. I hated to leave!
The place is absolutely had a beautiful weekend up there with friends. Super reasonable prices a great facility in a quaint and amazing area. Lots of great hiking and fishing around. Highly recommend stopping by for a camping trip!
Country Roads Campground is an all around hidden gem. The owners are very kind and will greet you with a warm welcome and a smooth check in process. There are great facilities on the property such as a picnic pavilion with heat lamps, a swimming pool, and a jacuzzi (which was being fixed, but great to have nonetheless). The camp is positioned in a peaceful parcel of land surrounded by beautiful woods and mountains. I recommend checking out Miners Kill State Park for some good hikes. I highly recommend booking a trip to Country Roads Campground if you are looking for a great campsite in the Gilboa/Schoharie area.
We only booked to stay one night but we were really well looked after. Lovely site. No traffic noise. Just in the woods. Fabulous.
