It seems to be kept up well, although I don't know how long it's been here. The room was quiet and warm. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The price was great, too. We ate at the Bistro for a light dinner and then for a coffee and oatmeal for breakfast. It was all good. A definite place to stay. (December 2024).
The hotel was average. It was not extremely dirty but there were areas that needed more cleaning. The shower head in the bathroom was caked with metal deposits and other grime. The room was also incredibly dark. There are no overhead lights and the lamps give off very little light. The air conditioning was not great either. It would turn off intermittently and would make the room hot. The pillows were also very flat and not comfortable. The mattress on the bed was old and not comfortable either. The sheets were also yellowed and did not feel the cleanest. Overall I would not stay here again, but it sufficed for my visit.
Traveling during the time of year when lake effect can come out of the blue can be stressful. Last night as I90 got snowy and icy I had to make the call to pull off the road and find a hotel. This hotel was beyond welcoming and gave me a safe place to land in a last minute change of plans. The storm has definitely been tough on this city, breakfast and the bistro had to close due to people unable to make it to work. But even with less employees as usual, the accommodations were wonderful.
Great location to stay on the way back from the Bills game. Cheaper to stay there than in Buffalo and it’s less than an hour drive. Room was comfy. But breakfast seemed a little pricey but it was good.
Not impressed with check in. Guy just rambling what was available and very confusing with cost. Asked how much , was told but it did not include tax. They should have given me the total cost! When questioned with a Visa alert on my phone, was told I should have asked! NO they should tell u up front the total! Then he had the odosity to tell me if I didn’t like it I can leave! OMG! When I said I want to use a different Card he said I’d have to work that out on the morning! OMG! I’m not a regular customer at many hotels and have not used them In years. Where did the customer service go! Asked about breakfast. Yes they have it., but again not advised we had to pay for it! That should have been explained. 20.00 for two coffees and bagels with cream cheese. Complete incompetence. However when I spoke to front desk in morning she provided $40.00 for apology! We used the $20.00. She was awesome. And apologized several times for the communication . How rude for them To say I should have asked!!!!’…. Really! And if I didn’t like it I could leave. Very low lighting in room. Toilet paper and Kleenex was like SANDPAPER! Wallpaper in bathroom requires cleaning. King bed comfy! Would I stay again. You be the judge!
