Courtyard Gatlinburg Downtown

Very good hotel, book with confidence! Well located, free parking. Very clean, excellent bed and bathroom. The only thing I didn’t like much was their breakfast system. We booked a breakfast included rate but it’s not continental, you need to order from the bar item per item. Although the staff at the bar was fantastic the system isn’t very good since it’s no a buffet.

I travel with a wheelchair user and need extra accomodations. We were SO pleased with the personal care. Really top notch. We stayed in an accessible queen suite and loved the space. Beds were comfy, balcony was perfect for a morning coffee, and location is just a few minutes walk from the main drag. We didn't need to drive/pay for parking at all downtown. Loved the cozy seating areas on the first floor and outdoor, especially the fire pit. Worth the price to us!

We stayed here to be close to the park for a week long hiking trip. The location is the best part about this place, very close to the park and Gatlinburg downtown. Other than that, there are no upsides to this hotel. The rooms look new but everything was broken (maybe never even worked when installed). The heat stopped working and maintenance had to fix it. The fridge had no shelf and also stopped working in the middle of the night, spoiling all our hiking food. The coffee maker had no pot so we couldn't make coffee. There is no continental breakfast so we couldn't get coffee there either. At this price there should definitely be breakfast! There was one light in the room that would flicker. Worst of all, room service never cleaned. The dirty sheets and towels were not replaced. The trash was never taken out. We were all the way at the end of the hall and I saw the cleaning ladies working late into the night, so maybe there's not enough staff to cover all the rooms because they never got to our room at the end. Even the vending machines were out of two of the sodas we wanted. Also - the first day we were given the wrong parking pass for only one day rather than the full week so be sure to double check the dates on your pass. Overall I was very disappointed with the quality for what I paid. I would not stay here again.

Where do I start…we have been loyal Marriott Bonvoy members for years- this was by a long short the most expensive stay ever at over $400/night on average. TV never worked. Tried to call the desk, THREE TIMES- when it was finally answered it was by a GUEST, who had been standing there for 30 min without any service- so I guess thanks to him. Rude service at the coffee bar by the young short gal- the older one with long gray hair was nice enough. Overall the hotel was dirty. Leaves and tracked in stuff on the floor (every single time!) crushed cookie or whatever on the 5th floor, for at least 2 days before addressed. When we came and went, not one time that there was someone standing there did they say Hi or bye. Not adequate parking. The cabinet with permanent art work on display is full of dust! Slow elevators- did I mention over $400/night!

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. I expected the quality of a Marriott, but it fell short in several areas. The rooms were extremely small, and housekeeping was not provided daily—you had to call and request it. The shower design was inconvenient, with glass on only one side, causing water to spill onto the vanity area, leaving it messy. The bed had an exposed metal piece on the side, posing a safety hazard. There was no complimentary water in the room, and the coffee machine was very basic. While they serve Starbucks coffee in their café, there isn’t an actual Starbucks on-site. Additionally, the staff was rude and unfriendly, which made the stay less pleasant. On the positive side, my husband and I were thrilled to spot a bear in the parking lot around midnight, and the hotel’s location offers good accessibility to the strip. However, overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
