Customer Reviews
This is a solid comfortable and clean hotel with great customer service and I would gladly stay again. I am grateful to the manager Mr. Patel, Kyle, and Brian for their professionalism and kindness at check-in. Mr. Patel took time to address my concerns as the room type I booked was unavailable. He personally showed me a room to assure my safety and comfort and I was offered a special rate for the disappointment and inconvenience. Frankly, the room provided was of design and size that many other hotels would call a suite, only lacking a fully separate bedroom. The room was clean and the bathroom looked recently renovated. Very comfortable and quiet with quiet heat/cooling. Without a doubt this Courtyard has the best beds ever. The pool looked beautiful but I did not try it. The food and beverages from the Bistro for dinner and breakfast were prepared to order by pleasant staff and everything was better than expected. Overall, really enjoyed the food and orders were accurately prepared. Having stayed in both, I can say from my experience that this Courtyard is a big step up in comfort from the Residence Inn next door in terms of room furnishings quality and mattress comfort, quality of amenities, quiet, and food options.
It’s a good place to stay compared to the nearby Sheraton. This hotel is equipped with a coin laundry service and provides free parking for all guests. However, they do not offer free breakfast to all guests, even for members. Platinum members, however, receive a $10 voucher at check-in, which can be used in the bistro. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the desks are well-suited for working. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
Our swim team of 50 stayed at this hotel for a meet at TCNJ, and we couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. After returning from the meet each night, they secured our food orders and provided us with a dedicated space to eat. They even supplied us with cutlery and plates when needed, which was a thoughtful touch. Additionally, they opened breakfast early for us each morning, which was much appreciated given our schedule. As a large group of young athletes, we know accommodations like this aren’t always guaranteed, but the staff made us feel valued and well cared for throughout our stay. We highly recommend this hotel for large groups and teams—it’s the perfect choice for a hassle-free experience!
The place was under construction while we were there 12/22/24 - 12/26/24. We were not informed that the hotel would be under construction & we were still charged full price. The place smells of mold & mildew. It's the worst in the hallways, but our room smelled, too. Upon arrival, we were informed that I'd reserved with a request for no housekeeping. That is not true. I did not request no housekeeping. I did request a handicapped room, which we were given, but there was no shower seat. I called the front desk & they brought one. They said they keep them locked up because people steal them. ??? Seriously? Maybe they should install wall mounted seats like most hotels have. The have No Coffee or Tea for guests. I've never been to a hotel that doesn't have coffee in the lobby available for their guests. Every hotel I've ever stayed in offers coffee & tea for guests. Not here. No breakfast, or even continental breakfast for guests unheard of! They do have a restaurant where you can buy coffee & breakfast. We weren't about to pay additional to get coffee or food. We bought our own coffee & half and half, and used the 1-cup Keurig coffee maker in the room so we could have morning coffee. There were some positives. The room was large & it was easy to move around. It had the largest TV I've ever seen in a hotel room & the bed was pretty comfortable. We were happy to have the Keurig & there was also a small refrigerator. The positives end there. There are tiny little bedside tables, barely able to hold items you might want to keep handy, such as tissues, a phone & a drink. There's a trash can in the bathroom that accepts trash & recycling in two different compartments. That's something I've never seen before & I think it's a nice idea. But there's no trash can by the desk/table that hold the coffee maker, ice bucket & glasses. We ended up taking one of the trash can inserts out & using it by the table for easy disposal of K-Cups & food related refuse. The staff people were very nice & tried to be accommodating, but it didn't overcome the negatives we encountered. I will never stay here again. We visit the area frequently because we have family in the area. In the future, we'll definitely choose another hotel to stay. Seriously, no coffee for your guests? And we should definitely have been informed that the hotel was under construction & given some sort of discount for the inconvenience & lack of breakfast options. I've paid half the price we paid for this hotel & had 24/7 coffee & breakfast.
The employees are really nice and helpful but I kept getting random charges on a separate card that was different from the one I used for the collateral. I bought snacks from downstairs and as soon as they got my card info I was charged later that day. Then my partner who paid early to get the room got charged twice because they forgot to look into our reservation. I was told it wouldn't go through and if it did they can help me get it back but I felt that was unfair because why I am getting charged additional when I paid for snacks and I later checked out on time. If you are coming here be prepared to bring double what you think you needed because they will just charge you for breathing the air inside the hotel then later tell you it's just a hold.
