Customer Reviews
Great place to launch a boat or kayak and fish. Lake has many species of fish including good size kokanee and stocked rainbows. Pay to park boat launch that is 8$ for the day. I didn't explore the campground but it seemed like a good place to camp. The bathroom at the boat launch was fairly clean and in good condition. This lake is very large and very deep (150'+). It gets pretty busy with recreational boaters so if you go to fish, start early. Will return.
I had a great night at the campground. Only two other campers have been on site. Complete campground including the restrooms has been very clean and quiet. The couple taking care of the campground has been very helpful. Be aware you need 7 quarters for a shower.
It's well kept and the spots are large. There are lots of paths to get down to the water and that water is beautiful. I do think that the "beach" which is dirt so you know. Is very dangerous there are tons of bare sharp sticks poking out of the ground it's hard to navigate through and kind of ridiculous. I have little people and I kept imagining them falling on them they would go right through you. The ought to move some of the rocks too. You can see in the pics. Beautiful view and swimming water. Scary land! 🤣
First time at this camp ground and it was great. Everything was fairly clean for being a busy camp ground in peak season. There was good access to the beach there that made for a nice swimming location. I wish I knew ahead of time the showers were coin-operated but we were only there two nights so not a huge problem for us. I know it has a boat ramp too but I only drove by. It looked like a good launch spot but the dock looked like it might have limited ability to change with the water level which could make getting passengers on and off difficult with out them wading out if the water is lower
The campsites are decent size and heavily wooded, so there's plenty of shade covering. The bathrooms and showers are clean. Easy access to the water and boat ramp.
At first glance the campground seems wonderful. We pulled in just a few families there. Had a wonderful evening, went to bed and it turned in to a nightmare. Wish we had read other reviews on rec.gov. It is clear someone has access to the group site and uses it to party. They were partying and fighting till 5 am. We left first thing in the morning and will never be back. Other campers were heard trying to get them to stop arguing, walking by campsites loudly talking, and playing music loud but no luck. Do not recommend camping there at all.
