Cove Recreation Site Introduce

Welcome to Cove Recreation Site, a featured location in the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, situated on an Unnamed Road in Bruneau, ID 83604. This campground is appreciated for its well-spaced campsites and access to lake activities.

Environment: Cove Recreation Site is described as a nice campground with great campsites that are not situated too close together, offering a sense of space and privacy. Many campsites feature shelters over the picnic tables, providing shade and protection from the elements. There are ample opportunities for swimming in the cove.

Services: The campground is reported to be kept clean, and the Camp Hosts are noted to be very helpful and present. For those interested in boating, there are a few small docks available in the cove where you can dock your boat. However, it's important to note that the faucets do not have garden hose threads, which may affect your ability to fill up an RV with water.

Features: Key features of Cove Recreation Site include spacious campsites, shelters over picnic tables, clean facilities, helpful camp hosts, and plenty of swimming areas. The availability of small docks is a plus for boaters. However, potential drawbacks include potentially windy conditions with gusts ranging from 10 to 20 mph, even on sunny days. Additionally, some campsites may be located near a power station, which could generate noise, particularly at night. It is suggested that campsites numbered 30 and above may be further away from this noise.

Promotional Information: Cove Recreation Site offers a pleasant camping experience with good value, priced around $10-$12 per site. The spacious and sheltered campsites, combined with swimming and boating access, make it an attractive option for those looking to enjoy the lake. However, campers should be prepared for potentially windy conditions and be mindful of the location of their campsite relative to a nearby power station if noise is a concern. Remember that you may not be able to fill your RV water tank directly from the faucets. For more information, please contact them at (208) 384-3300 or via mobile at +1 208-384-3300.

If you are looking for a well-maintained campground with spacious sites, picnic shelters, and opportunities for swimming and boating in the Bruneau area, Cove Recreation Site is worth considering. Just be prepared for potential wind and inquire about campsite location relative to the power station when booking.

This is a nice campground. The camp sites are great especially with the shelters over the picnic tables. Plus the camp sites are not on top of each other. It's kept clean and the Camp Hosts that were there while we stayed were very helpful. There are plenty of places to swim. You can dock your boat at one of the few small docks they have in the cove. The cost around $10-$12 per site is good. Just a couple notes though. The faucets do not have garden hose threads so you may not be able to fill up your RV with water. It may get pretty windy from 10 to 20 mph gusts even on sunny days so keep that in mind.

Not bad for a place to camp off the highway a bit. There was a power station near our site that we didn't notice on the way in. It was loud enough to keep us up all night. Wish we would have camped in sites further away (numbers 30 and up). Covered camp sites were nice.

Had a great time! Kids were finding all sorts of little shells and cool rocks. The cp sites are clean and close to the water. They are shaded and also have a fire pit with a grill. We just went for day use to swim and the kids loved it. Very clean, shaded, easily accessible. Great place to bring your family.

Cove is a fantastic place to visit for either a day trip, camping, boating, or fishing. The area has a very large extensive campground. Every location has a shelter with a picnic table and fire pit (the last few were being installed the last time I visited). The campground is pet-friendly (on a leash). It can get a bit crowded during the summer so reservations are often a good idea.

Beautifully natural area. Great for boaters and nice nooks for fishing. Totally surprised at the recent improvements. There is still disbursed camping along the waterway; but new nice shelters big enough for a tent are great. It gets cold at night.

Horrible camp hosts. I was a better place when the camp hosts before sprayed the awnings to reduce spiders. Plus the hosts don't seem to remember who they have already spoken to and gotten money from so they continuously stop by asking the same questions but too lazy to get off their cart. So they honk until you walk up to them. This place has gone downhill.
