I recently visited Cove Resort Fishing and Tackle Store, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The store has a great selection of fishing gear and tackle, catering to both beginners and experienced anglers. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional customer service. The owner went above and beyond by gifting my son a tackle box, which made our visit all the more memorable. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their customers and their passion for fishing shines through. Highly recommended for anyone in need of quality gear and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
A great campground and fishing camp. We have stayed in the past, but this weekend was about fishing, apples, and a house full of family and friends. The campground owner is great to talk with and full of information. If you're an outdoors fishing person, this is your place.
We showed up on Labor Day and the place was clearing out. It was so nice and quiet. The wind was the loudest sound we heard in the day time. The coyotes were the loudest sound we heard at night. There was only a couple other sites occupied somewhere else in the campground. There is a plumbed in bathroom with showers and plenty of portapotties scattered throughout. The Porta potties were pretty clean as far as portapotties go. The bathrooms claim (sign on the door) to be cleaned daily but it's obvious they don't clean them daily or they need to fire the cleaner and hire a new person. However, they aren't horrible or nasty, just lots of bugs and dust. The store offers many of the essentials and boat rentals. We caught a couple small fish that we had to release. Overall, it was a great place to camp and I will for sure camp there again.
Great place to camp, much prefer it instead of the nearby state park. Hosts are friendly, guests are low key and prices are fair.
Called ahead of time to see what time they opened, so we showed up right before that time. The shop wasn't open just yet, so I called and double-checked, and I think I woke the owner up, but was informed that he was on his way down. A few minutes later, we rented a motorboat, were given a thorough rundown on working the motor, and a pair of life vests, along with advice on fishing gear and tactics. Absolutely no complaints. 10/10, will fish again.
