Love this campground. Perfectly situated between the Swift River and Boulder Loop Trail and close enough to town that if you forgot something civilization isn’t too far. I don’t love vault toilets but they were clean and only had 1 small spider. Water was delicious and my inner child enjoyed the pumps. I’ve camp here twice and will definitely camp again. Hosts were friendly and helpful. I stayed end of June and again early September.

Our favorite campground in the White Mountains. Basic, no cell reception, many private sites especially on the Boulder loop trail side. Hosts are great. Safe for kids. If you want to play music or party don’t come here.

Enjoying lying down on a rock and listening to the river sound, very relaxed and therapeutic. Good place for some sun light and relaxing, not many people visit it which was great! We had a quite but full of natural sounds afternoon here also took some fun pictures for good memories. Perhaps this place is more for the summer, so we can actually soaking in the water.

Cozy, comfortable, wood available, mostly clean bathroom which is more than other campsites provide, beautiful trail, river and the bridge is gorgeous too. Our campsite got flooded but you can’t control the weather and we still had a great trip.

We stayed at Covered Bridge one night. It is a great location relative to activities in the White Mountain National Forest. Extra bonus is the Boulder Loop Trail that is attached to the campground (it’s relatively short, offers several great vista views, and you can walk there from the campground and not have to deal with parking). The campground is clean and well kept. Pit toilets don’t bother me- they were very clean but if you struggle with using a pit or not having a shower, this isn’t your campground. The sites are quite large and have a good amount of space between them. Picnic tables and firepits are in great shape.
