Introduce

Welcome to Cow Creek Campground, located near Pecos, NM 87552. As a part of the 'Campgrounds & RV Parks' category, this campground offers a remote and basic camping experience with limited facilities.

Cow Creek Campground is characterized by its remote location, accessible via a 7-mile dirt road that is described as well-maintained but bumpy and crooked. The campground primarily consists of a few pull-out areas suitable for camping. There are some pools available for fishing, which may appeal to anglers seeking a secluded spot.

However, the campground offers no facilities, meaning there are no restrooms, water, or other amenities. Campers should be entirely self-sufficient and prepared for a primitive camping experience. Additionally, there are reports of signs indicating that the area may be a private club, which could potentially restrict access.

For inquiries, contact the Santa Fe National Forest ranger station. Visitors should be prepared for primitive camping and potential access limitations.

Customers highlight the remote location and fishing opportunities, but also warn about the lack of facilities, bumpy road, and potential access restrictions.

We were looking forward to camping there, drove 7 miles up a well maintained but bumpy crooked road to find signs saying it's a private club?? We didn't proceed past the signs.
