Customer Reviews
I really wanted to like this spot when we went. Unfortunately when we went the adult fishing spot wasn't even worth fishing, you got stuck almost instantly every time. My son somewhat enjoyed the other pond. We pretty much stayed for about an hour and left. This was almost a year ago so we do need to venture up again, but it is quite a drive to be so disappointed.
Pretty area and clear water, but pond had a ridiculous amount of lakeweed making fishing difficult. Also very shallow all around couldn't find a deep spot, and it honestly looked like a dead pond. If I didn't see a couple small fish be caught on bait I would think there was nothing; because there was no sign of any fishes or minnows. Maybe it was overfished when I went.
Pretty clean, good job to the fishers who clean up after themselves and their kiddos. Wife caught a rainbow from the stream, kiddos almost got one from the kids pond. Suggest you go on the weekdays. The drive up was sketchy in some areas. Narrowest was almost 15ft. Drive slow around them corners. Saw a lot of deers. No cell phone signal. Had a great time, will definitely return.
Very nice. You should come here also. Fishing is nice.
Kinda boring but pretty. A long drive to still have to keep a dog on leash. Fishing is available at the ponds.
