Love this point. Reserve it everything I come. Only one shade tree on the point and the bathrooms/showers are a good distance away. There are a lot of day use people that invade the spots you reserve. But beautiful and good fishing, swimming, kayacking, they rent them out here and there's a park fir little ones as well. Really the best spot on the lake.
Clean lake and bathrooms and showers, picnic tables.. some shade ( we stayed on campsite #16 facing the sunrise). It is a drive to get to the restrooms though. Lots of kids/families. So if you are looking for something more quiet, this campground is not the one for you.
We camped here about 2 weeks ago. The experience was good but unfortunately our camp site did not have any trees around so we had direct sun all day and made it very hot. Bathrooms were kinda of far and uphill. If you plan on camping here be sure you get a campsite by the trees (restrooms are closer). Bathrooms were very well maintained. It gets loud during the day with people from other sites coming to the lake
We had a lot of fun here, in the lake. It's not a good place to lay out unless you have a chair because of the rocks. The best thing, it wasn't overcrowded. This is just a short drive from the brokentiki tours.
Enjoyed the weekend here. Very clean campsite and bathrooms/showers.
Enjoyed the location, we camped at #35. Unfortunately we didn't know it is the party spot. So if you have kids or are going for a quiet nature outing and value sleep, dont camp here! We left after one night and got a room. Shout-out to Rodeway Inn! ❤️ I will say the bathrooms were awesome vs river side with vault toilets.. overall nice place to swim.
