Very clean area with tons of space and camp grounds available at great rates. Sandy beaches on the north side of the lake that the kids love playing on. We had pretty good luck fishing from the shore as well as over by the boat docks. The rangers are awesome and answered all our questions. Boating here starts May 1st and they ha e a spray station.

Very Beautiful and peaceful place , it’s plenty of campers with kids. For tent campers A bit hot in the Day but good weather at night .

Uneven tent sites. No tent pads. Bathroom sinks have no water pressure. garbage everywhere in the campsites. Rude rangers wont leave anyone alone. Dirty everywhere yet theres 67 thousand rangers on duty. 0/5 should be 12$ -15$ max. 36$ for this is a joke terrible place.

Two night stay dry camping, May 15, 2024. Pricey for dry camping off season. Beautiful and peaceful with view of the lake. No crowds (not busy season yet). Lots to do here. Will definitely stay here again (prefer to have full hook up though).

This place is perfect for backpacking training, or just getting back in touch with living off the fat of the land. Elk, turkeys, coyotes and bears are abundant, make sure you have scent sealed trash and food containers. Bear mace recommended, though it is windy in flat areas.
