Came for a one night stay in late Feb. Rooms were mostly updated, however looks like old carpet remains. We stayed in a room with 2 beds and a sofa bed. Has a beautiful view from the large deck. It was chilly in the room, but couldn't get the inverter to go to the heating mode, so very disappointed. Shall see how the night goes. Beds are so so comfy, very springy.

Stay: September 30 - October 3 We had a great stay at Coyote Mountain Lodge. Upon arrival, we hoped to check in at 4 PM, but we couldn’t get into our room until 4:45. Additionally, the room had a strong cleaner smell that lingered throughout our stay, even with the windows open. That said, the room itself was clean, modern, and spacious. We loved having a mountain-facing balcony to enjoy the stunning views. The AC worked well, and the separate bedroom and living room area allowed us to enjoy a movie while our daughter slept. The bathroom was beautiful, although the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were combined in one. The staff were friendly during check-in and check-out. We didn’t take advantage of the continental breakfast, as it started after we left for our hikes. The playground was a nice bonus, too! The location was excellent, with easy access to downtown and Rocky Mountain National Park. Parking was adequate, though the spots were narrow. We opted to park in front of our building instead of the designated spots. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend Coyote Mountain Lodge for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great amenities. For the price, it truly can’t be beat!

Rooms were clean. Did not open or have breakfast ready by 7am. We had to wait to return our keys. They finally opened at 7:15am but still no breakfast. The furnace was very loud. It sounded as if we were in high winds and a bag flying over our heads. Could not check in tell 4. Our check in was late because they didn't have our room ready.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and while the room was nice and spacious, I was disappointed with the AC. At night, it felt like it stopped working, as the room got warm, only for the AC to start up again after a while. The bathroom was clean and spacious, but I found it odd and a bit disappointing that they provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash all in the same bottle. The main reason we chose this hotel was for the beautiful mountain view, especially in winter this place is beautiful when everything is snow-covered. Fortunately, we were able to see elks nearby, which was a highlight of our stay. One major disappointment was that they do not offer early check-in, so you have to wait until 4 PM, or if you're lucky, 3:30 PM. This could definitely be improved for better flexibility. Overall, it’s a nice, quiet place that feels close to nature, especially in the early morning with stunning mountain views, greenery, and elks grazing nearby.

Room was clean, but different noises from heater and fridge prevented us to get a good sleep even if the bed was comfortable. The location is about 1.3 miles from the downtown square
