With level concrete pads and ample spacing between sites, RVers can enjoy a comfortable stay without feeling cramped or crowded.
Coyote Run Campground & RV Park boasts several amenities that make it a standout choice for campers. The park features a large, well-maintained dog park with shaded areas and waste bags, ideal for furry friends to socialize and play. For those looking to cool off, there's an onsite pool available for a small daily fee. Additionally, the campground includes a mini commissary, which is a lifesaver for guests who prefer not to travel far for basic supplies. The water supply at Coyote Run is of good quality, with hardness that doesn't pose issues and no unpleasant odors.
While staying at Coyote Run, visitors can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area, including spotting local wildlife such as antelope and occasional coyotes. The park's lighting ensures safety and convenience, especially for evening activities or late-night arrivals. Trash pickup is scheduled every Thursday, simplifying waste management for guests. However, it's important to note that the area does require visitors to bring their own bug spray due to the presence of ants and other insects.
Customer feedback highlights both the strengths and areas for improvement at Coyote Run Campground & RV Park. Many appreciate the affordability and value for money, with one couple noting they stayed for three weeks on a budget. The sense of community among long-term residents is also a positive aspect, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, there have been reports of frequent power outages, which can be disruptive, especially during extreme temperatures without backup generators. Additionally, the lack of Wi-Fi and spotty cell service may be a drawback for those reliant on connectivity.
Despite these challenges, Coyote Run Campground & RV Park continues to attract visitors with its unique blend of amenities and natural beauty. Customer Reviews
Hi, I’m posting because there was a lot of misinformation during our stay. But we had a good experience overall. It’s ID cardholder only , we are retirees. You must do a reservation prior to your stay. Good: FOR THE PRICE, it’s a great deal. We stayed three weeks. Full hookup, concrete and level pad, tons of room between you and neighbor. A lot of RV full timers here and equally a lot of what look to be storage or only used part time for work accommodations by their owners. There is a really really nice huge dog park, grass well kept, doggie bags, and a lot of shade. There is a pool, but it’s $5 pp and per day. Mini commissary is a huge bonus, especially since it’s about an hour to a store. Water was good, I was expecting hard iron water, it was just hard and no odor. Lighted plug in area. MWR staff super friendly at check in. Absolutely quiet and lots of beautiful antelope, saw one coyote. You have your own trash. It’s not every other week pick up as we were told, it’s every Thursday Not So Good: 8 power outages, 4 were longer than 4 hours each. Wasn’t until we asked that we were informed of the ones for the next weekend. They did start placing a note on rv doors after we asked. Just glad we had a generator, was 104 outside. Spot is super covered in really tall weeds and Thorn bushes. We were told (by another camper not MWR, and two days before the end of our stay) the occupants are responsible for the cleanup. We did a full site pickup but as passing thru , we were not capable of a huge yard clean. Bring bug spray, lots of ants. No WiFi Att apparently works here, T-Mobile was horrible. If you have WiFi of your own, bring it.
This place is available to personnel who work or live on Dugway. It's not available for the general public. Full hookups and dry-camping spots are available.
The girl helping me was lovely. Btw, very scenic camp.
