Very nice, quite National Wildlife Refuge Park. Wide and deep sites all with water and electric but only a handful of pull through sites have full hookups. First come, first served... no reservations. Great place. This is the second time we have stayed here in our 41 ft fifth wheel and GMC dually.
Wow, we really like this campground a lot!! Staff are super friendly and helpful, views are AMAZING, a lot sites are spacious, most sites get the view of the beautiful lake which is great, bathroom /showers need updating but doable, fishing is good here from shoreline on this huge lake, towns are close if you need to grab anything which is nice, only downfall that I see is no laundry at this campground so you have to go to neighboring towns to do it. All in all we think it's great here and would highly recommend to come here and try it out!
This campground is located at Crab Orchard Lake NWR. It has easy access and decent roads and camping spots. Many spots in different loops. Nice views of the lake and forest. Quiet shady spots and some in open sunny areas. There are sites with water and electric and some with full hookup. Tent sites, small and large rv sites. A dump site is located at the exit point. I stayed one night and had a pleasant experience. I have stayed here multiple nights in the past. Always a nice spot to relax and enjoy nature.

Been camping here most my life 54 now spent a .onto here this time and it was so relaxing and staff was so friendly recommending it to all
