This is one of the best lakes I've been too at the Grand Mesa. Campground is very secluded and quiet. I would just be careful taking a small car or campers through the only entrance as it has been washed by the rain so alot of rocks and its a bit steep. All in all a great place to be.
Nice for a dry campground. Creek nearby for water. Overlooks a small reservoir. Beware of the domesticated Fox that isn't afraid of anything. Will jump on the picnic table with you sitting there.
Beautiful but people aren't following the fire ban. They still think it's ok to have a fire. Dangerous. Where are the Rangers??????!!!
Lovely!
Perfect place to start the trail, but it will take a whole day if you plan to walk the complete loop.
