Customer Reviews
I really enjoyed my two-day trip here. It is family friendly. Ellen was very nice. It's a beautiful location. We loved the tent site that we were assigned. No loud music after 11pm. Clean and safe. The bathrooms were close by. My small, only complaint is that the bathrooms get very wet due to the showers. There's a small store in case you forgot anything. Plenty to do nearby if you feel like leaving the site. The other campers were very respectful. I will definitely come back!
I can't say enough good things about this place. The family that owns it we're very hospitable. Our children played with their awesome son the majority of our trip leaving us adults plenty of time for R&R. The cabins were very rustic and I truly felt the connection to Nature, being pretty much unplugged the whole weekend yet still having my phone charged for emergencies. It was a short drive to town to pick up supplies at the local Walmart but also felt very disconnected from the hustle and bustle. The camp is also fairly close to bushkills falls which was a great day trip and so scenic. The pool was amazing and gave my children many hours of fun. I didn't have any luck fishing but they do have a pond with a little dock to fish from. When it came time to leave no one wanted to go home and the very next day everyone was asking when we could go back. We're now planning a trip for October because they are hosting a Halloween event. Update: 2nd trip was as great as the first. The whole family cant wait to visit again in may when they open for the season.
Honestly the place is pretty getto. The office is hardly open you have to call for the people who live there to come to the office. The guy owner is VERY RUDE! The bathrooms are scary. The staff if there is any…. don’t come around the campground at all. We slept in a tent and it worked but I couldn’t image taking a RV into that campground. The place is very unkept and the pictures a deceitful. The pathway to the campground is full of potholes. The water also has a nasty smell. The photos I attached were of the “nice bathroom” the other bathroom is legit a cabin.
My family stayed at a tent site this weekend and it was so quiet and peaceful. Very friendly owners. My car wouldn't start our last day and they came right up and jumped it for me. Thank you again. We would come back to this campground again if ever in the area.
We come here every year for a specific event. The owners are wonderful, the place is a perfect camping area. I am writing this review from my hammock as I camp here now. If you need an RV hook up or you want a primitive camp, site then this is it. Yes, five stars for everything. It's camping. It's supposed to be primitive.
First time camping at cranberry run! And we loved it! We had a hike in site that was absolutely beautiful. Even had a creek running through it 😊 And the bathrooms were SO clean!! Already booked our next trip there!
