6 miles uphill dirt road to this quiet little spot. 16 camping spots . About 4 near the water Good job rangers ... Clean toilets and nice quiet campground. Took a truck and 20 ft camper.... Wouldn't want to go up in a 30 ft.... It's a corregated/ wash oard road, not to rough but bumpy
Location Location Location A great place to stay if you get a good site We stayed 4 nights in a 28 ft motor home, no hookup Water was close by we had clean bathroom's close to hiking trails and a bonus was the free trolley which gave us access to park it self and more trails Fair priceing with senior pass also included was a dump station
Nice campground but one heck of a washboard road to get there.
Clean place to camp, they have a couple bathrooms throughout the loop. There's a day parking area as well, but you can walk from literally anywhere. Definitely busier in the summer but you just can't beat the clear water similar to Lake Tahoe! There's also fishing and blue crawdads, as well as a trail that you can hike around the whole lake! Also, yes there's bugs. It's a lake and summer. Not sure what other commenters expected lol
Bathrooms were disgusting and it only takes a few families to feel crowded already, but otherwise a nice little place to visit.
