I came down to Crazy Acres last weekend for a work trip (I'm one of those weird people that would rather stay in my RV than a hotel). I had a great time. The murder mystery was absolutely hysterical. The staff were so accommodating with my work schedule, I will be back again next year.
This campground was amazing. The owners Tracy, Chris, Stephanie, Larry were absolutely the best. Friendly, caring, helpful. We will be back next year no doubt. Dog Friendly
Cabins? They are sheds! We rented the biggest one bc we wanted a private bathroom and thinking we were staying in a cabin. After a long day of driving I was atleast excited to take a shower, to find out the water wouldn't get hot. Thank god my husband is a jack of all trades and quickly realized the shower wasn't producing enough water flow to activate the heater out back to kick on. Fyi to take a hot shower you have to turn the hot water on in the kitchen sink and keep it on while you shower. We also found out on the last day we were there if it rains to much, that the cabin/shed sewage will back up. Nothing like being woking up to the toilet making a gurgling noise and then the god awful smell of methain. I've never packed and got out of a place so fast in my life.
We took our camper there and had full hook ups. So enjoyable and good people.
Went for a few days with a friend.....we are two ladies in our 70's on a visit to Oneonta. Crazy Acres was the perfect spot for us. Lovely setting. Very helpful staff and owners. Maintained with a lot of love and care. We will be back! Oh...that's right...we already booked for September.
My family and I love this campground. Everyone is so friendly including the owners. They prioritize making sure everyone has fun and feels included in all the activities!

They don't care about the community and the noise ordinance in town of davenport ny to fergusonville ny. The owner claims she knows the law well obviously she doesn't cause she hasn't looked up the noise ordinance on line or went to davenport town hall. The cops don't know every town ordinance as there isn't enough of them to go around in the country. We've lived here all our lives and had different owners of the campground and never had to deal with total disregard for the community and neighbors. Total disrespect for the country peace and quiet and people who live here
I have been camping at crazy acres for many years. The owners make you feel like family. If you have a problem they are there to help. There is so many activities almost every weekend. I love crazy acres!❤️❤️❤️❤️
