Creekside Camp is a beautiful hidden gem on the beautiful Shoals Creek. With only 8 sites it was perfect!! The sites were full hookup, level and all on the water!! The sights had concrete pads, picnic table and fire rings with free wood provided. Shannon and his family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Wifi and phone service was great!! We will diffidently be back and hope to fill all 8 sites with friends and family.
Fishing was great, Kayak use was included which was a big hit for my three kids. Everything was perfect, All my Family had agreed we wanted to come back, We just wished we had found this place sooner. Thank You! MR. Shannon

Well,I'm a Florida boy who spent every summer for decades and went on to live in Florence. East Side,Bailey Springs, Prospect St by the synagogue. Then one miserable March day I drove back to FL and I haven't been back since. But it looks like I'm coming back. For anyone that reads this...FL is not what you think it is. Not anymore. My father W.L. Foy III always told me about the Blue Hole-a bend in the creek where it's super deep and an underwater spring keeps it cold year round. On the old maps it showed up. And many of the locals told me about it. But I was always led to believe it was closer to Bailey or even Happy Hollow. Back home a blue hole is a huge cave/spring filled with water , very dangerous to dive (had a friend Matt Lund who lost his life in one) So is this where it is?
We love Creekside Camp! It's very convenient for us because we live close and can run home if needed. This campground is a hidden gem right in the heart of the shoals! 8 campsites right on the creek with a boat ramp, fishing peir, and kayaks for campers use! The owners live very close also and go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need! We book 2 or 3 times a year ❤️
