Hidden gem campground! Lovely space, nice facilities, creek and swimming hole to relax in all day, free range chickens, huge tree swing. Right down the road from Idaho City (recommend eating at Trudy’s). Gayle is a LOVELY host. Must stay. We loved it.
Having my Wedd OMG here in July. So excited, we booked the campground for the weekend and I'm so excited. Gayle had been wonderful, she is one awesome lady. The site is gorgeous. There's a creek that runs along the side, a collection of aspens and vintage stone bench to take scenic pictures and enjoy. Gayle offers an ice house, free fire wood for those who choose to camp for the night, a large firepit that all your guests can enjoy together, and 10 nicely sized campsites with a very clean outhouse. More to come after my wedding, its going to be legendary, yup I said it, legendary!

Perfect quiet little place right off the main road. The only thing you hear is the creek!Excellent place to just escape from everything.
Nice little place, kids had a blast on the tetherball and rope swing, played in the creek, and has some pretty descent vaulted restrooms. No hookups or running water, and watch out for the roaming chickens and turkeys, great place!!
