Creekside Campground Introduce
Welcome to Creekside Campground, a Campgrounds & RV Parks destination located at 4314 Sunshine Coast Hwy, Sechelt, BC V7Z 0B2, Canada. This campground offers a convenient location with easy access to both nature and local amenities.
One of the key features of Creekside Campground is its location. It is described as perfect for those who appreciate proximity to shopping and the beach, with stores located just steps away and the ocean across the street. The campground also boasts easy entrance from the highway. For those looking for local dining, Pepper Creek pizza is highly recommended by a visitor.
The grounds of Creekside Campground are noted for their cleanliness compared to other parks visited by one reviewer. The campground offers full hook-ups for RVs, including water, sewer, and electricity, which were reported as easy to connect. While the sites might not be overly spacious, a 33-foot RV with slides on both sides reportedly fit without issue. A notable environmental feature is the creek that runs through the campground, offering the opportunity to camp right next to it. For tent campers, platforms are available at the tenting spots, which could enhance the camping experience.
While one review mentioned older, run-down facilities and a non-operational pool, another highlighted the low prices for full hook-ups as a significant advantage, especially considering the seemingly well-maintained grounds. The staff, particularly the office personnel, have been described as sweet and helpful.
It's worth noting that one visitor experienced some initial issues with check-in and bathroom access codes, indicating potential inconsistencies in administrative processes. However, another visitor who stayed for a night expressed a strong intention to return, citing the unbeatable price for the value received.
For local users in Singapore planning a visit to the Sechelt area in British Columbia, Creekside Campground offers an affordable option with a prime location near shopping and the beach. The creek-side camping and tent platforms add to its natural appeal. While some facilities may be older, the cleanliness of the grounds and the helpfulness of the staff have been positively mentioned. Came to the campsite, nobody in the office. No problem, but our name was not on the board. Over the phone we got our site number so we parked. Wanted to go to the bathroom, found out we needed a code. Waited for the operator to come to the site, got a code. First went as he was cleaning, so didn’t need the code. Tried to use the code later, only to find out it was the wrong code we were given 🤦🏼♀️. And yes, it was the numbers, I did actually press the unlock button. Overall, old run down facilities. There once was a pool, but that looked like it hadn’t been open in a while. Location on the creek is nice. Would not recommend staying here until upgrades have been made to facilities
19th rv park in BC! Over 2 months of traveling in BC. Location! It's perfect for shopping or going down to the beach. Easy entrance on highway. Stores are steps away. Be sure to get pizza at Pepper creek. Best I have had! Grounds. So much cleaner than many of the parks we have been to. Water sewer and electricity were easy to hook up. There isn't a ton of space..but just enough we are big 33 feet slides on both sides. We fit easily. The creek runs right though and you can camp right next to it. Tenting spots had a platform. Which would make life easy. There are a few full timers but their spots looked clean and well kept..unlike many of the ones we have seen at this price! Prices are on the low side for full hook ups!!! Really low. I would have expected a more rundown location but it's not. The girl that is in the office is so sweet. She helped people find a spot and get set up. You could hear how kind she is. It was just a one night stop for us but we will come back for sure! Can't beat the price fir what you get!! There isn't a pool anymore..but there is a creek and a huge ocean across the street.
Great place for our overnight stay. It was nice to camp next to the beautiful creek. (road traffic was a bit noisy). It was nice to have amenities within walking distance. Bathroom and shower were very clean.
Clean, high quality bathrooms and showers coupled with amazing camp locations along the creek. Bobby, the employee I spoke with, was excellent and a joy to speak with! Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely be returning!
Lovely campground. When I was there (which was recently) it wasn’t busy at all and quite quiet. Of course you have the road but it wasn’t too loud, it wasn’t a threat to a good nights rest, and it was a nice sound in its own way. But maybe that’s because I’m used to the noise of cars passing by. The bathrooms are pretty clean and the shower is only a dollar which is reasonable and the creek is just awesome. It’s such a beautiful sound to hear when you wake up in the morning (if you have a site close to it.) IGA is literally next door so food and other things that you may need is not a hassle. Overall a very nice campsite and I would definitely come again.
