Arrived to CB yesterday and we’re IN LOVEEEEEEEE with this place! The campground is pristine and VERY WELL maintained! Not to mention the GORGEOUS views!
Great little park, the campground itself was wonderful, staff was great. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is becuase of the eastern washington wind and lack of stores nearby. Which isn't exactly the campgrounds fault. But. The issue still exists.
This was my first time staying, though I've been a visiting day guest before. We had a blast, our kids thoroughly enjoyed our space, the grass, and we enjoyed being so close to many different river beach options. The camp host was great to us, checked on us, and was sure to warn us about a neighbor's dog around our kiddos and she was sure to chat with them about their dog also. The camp host was very friendly and checked in, waved at the kids, and exuded friendly atmosphere. The campground was kept in top shape and had a large picnic table in our spot. Playground, multiple beaches, two coffee and souvenir shops within walking distance, and an ice cream parlor. All enjoyed in our short stay.
What a nice, well thought out campground. They’ve installed these loops so you can set up a tent. Not many place allow for RVs AND a tent. We only stopped for an overnight but we’d come back to stay for a few days.
Central WA's secret no more! Tucked in Wanapum Lake Columbia River, this gem is a have for some quiet time. A relaxing place where you can have almost everything you need. It's like a resort that you do not want to leave. Spacious area with hiking or biking spots. Parking is not a problem. Water for whatever purpose if the lake is not enough for you to dip in. They have available power, bathroom, and shower area. If there one thing I do not like... 10pm you are outtahere. Yes, no overnight... Bummer! 10pm is quiet time.
