Crescent Beach & RV Park Introduce

Crescent Beach & RV Park, located at 2860 Crescent Beach Rd, Port Angeles, WA 98363, USA, falls under the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, offering spaces for RV and potentially tent camping. Based on recent customer reviews, it's important for potential visitors to be aware of certain aspects of this location.

One significant point raised by a reviewer is the privatization of Crescent Beach itself, which may impact public access. An edit to this review includes a comment from the owner regarding the history of the land. This perspective contrasts with the reviewer's experience of what they perceived as a "low effort exploitation operation" and suggests that focusing on care and maintenance might improve the visitor experience.

For those considering camping at the RV park, another review highlights the very small size of the campsites. The reviewer, who was in an RV with slides, noted that when the slides were extended, they were close enough to picnic tables on both sides that someone could lean against them. This suggests a lack of space and potentially limited privacy between campsites.

Furthermore, a customer shared a negative experience regarding the reservation policy. After reserving a spot six months in advance, they realized within five minutes that they needed to change their dates. They reported that there was no option to cancel, only to rebook within the next year, leading to dissatisfaction and a decision not to return. This policy may be a crucial consideration for those with uncertain travel plans.

The same reviewer also mentioned the possibility of tenting with no privacy, suggesting that the close proximity of sites may affect all types of campers. While the beach itself is described as pretty, the overall camping experience seems to be overshadowed by concerns about space and privacy.

Considering these reviews, potential visitors to Crescent Beach & RV Park should be aware of the reported issues regarding beach access, the small and potentially crowded nature of the campsites with limited privacy, and the strict no-cancellation, rebooking-only policy. For further inquiries or to make a reservation despite these concerns, you can contact (360) 928-3344 or mobile phone +1 360-928-3344.

Tried to visit Crescent beach only to find its been privatized. Edit: The owner mentioned that the land was stolen decades ago like it somehow justifies a low effort exploitation operation. If they put the energy of gatekeeping the beach into the care and maintenance of the business then they might be worth visiting.

It is a pretty beach. I have never camped in that small of a space. When I put out my slides you could lean your back against them from picknick tables on both sides.(Thankfully airstream on both sides) Reserved a spot 6 months out. 5 minutes after reservation I realized one of the days I didn't have off. No option to cancel only to rebook within the next year. I won't be coming back. Maybe tenting with no privacy is your thing? If so give them a try

Friendliest staff I've ever come across in a campground! Awesome location. Nestled between a beautiful beach and Olympic national Park. Good base camp for all your Olympic adventures

The RV Park was awesome! Easy access for our 29' RV, the dog friendly beach was across the street, staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved watching the ships coming into port and leaving. I would love to visit this place again and stay longer!

The staff were friendly, the beach is nice, and it is a great view. However, the campsites are just a strip of open area by the road and the mosquitoes were HORRID! There literally is a stagnant, festering swamp a few feet off the back of the campsites. You cannt go outside your camper without being completely swarmed. Unloading and getting into our camper when we first arrived, my wife had approximately 20 mosquitoes bites. I cannot emphasize enough how bad they are. I'd never stay here again. I'd rather go park at Walmart. We were only there 2 days and that was 2 days too many.
