We chose a "primitive site" for tent camping, which just basically meant no electric hookups for an RV. It was right next to the creek, but not too far from the amenities (shower house, snack stand, gaga ball pit and basketball court). It was great for the kids, quiet and safe - we had no issues letting the kids explore on their own. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms were clean.

This was our first time visiting the area. Crooked Creek was referred to us by a friend. It did not disappoint! The campground is very clean, bath house is neat and clean (New), and the creek running through the property is amazing. Kids had a blast splashing and playing in it. Night time temps are comfortable and it’s very quiet.

The 'Rooms' are campsites. There are a lot of them and they are spacious enough. There are two public access trails to the stream behind the campsite so you can swim from dusk till dawn if you want to and the stream is fantastic. You are only about 15-20 minutes from MILES of hiking in the PA grand Canyon and the amenities are top notch. The bath house is very nice and the staff is wonderful. Lots of kids and a family mentality for sure. The primitive sites are clean and away from the camper sites, giving you just enough seclusion. We did have one minor issue with some water because we were tent camping in a camper site, but otherwise this place is fantastic. 100% going to go back.
