Crooked Creek Campground

We stayed in site 48 this past weekend and couldn’t say enough good things! We arrived after dark and waking up to see how beautiful the campground and views were was amazing. Both my partner and I were amazed at the cleanliness oh the showers/ washrooms every single day. And of course loved that they are free and hot! The outhouses by our site were also immaculate. We hungout in the “cookhouse” 2/3 nights to help escape some of the wind since we were tenting and it was also great. Filled with lots of books, tables and chairs, and a wood burning stove. Tons of garbage and recycling bins that had zero smell ever and overall an incredibly clean campground. Super close drive into Waterton if you are wanting to check anything out or golf! Very dark at night which gives you perfect view of the stars. 10/10 visit and will for sure be returning, thanks for a relaxing weekend!

Just checked out of site 124. My husband and two pit bulls enjoyed ourselves very much. Campgrounds are clean, quiet and beautiful. Yes most tent sites are walk in. However the campsite offers large metal pull carts to assist you. We were right beside the garbage cans and bathrooms and were a little worried about the potential smell. I was so impressed they did not. Staff cleaned and changed bags daily. Bear boxes for every site. They also have some power stations near by to blow up mattresses and charge battery packs etc. we never missed out on anything a regular power site offered. With it being so close to our site we could easily plug everything in. I was absolutely amazed the views. I can’t wait to come back. Staff was great, they ensure an enjoyable experience.

We camped with our 2 kids on one of the walk in sites for 4 nights and had a great stay! Beautiful views of the mountains in the distance. Clean bathrooms/showers. Good privacy levels on our site. The cook house was very handy for rainy day meals. On site laundry super handy when on a longer trip. Wood and ice available to purchase. Bear box for each site and wagons to move our things from the car to the site. Nice staff. Good location - just outside the park and only 15-30 minute drive from the main hikes. We'd definitely return!

Stayed here for a few nights with my wife and our two Schnauzers. Nice little path in the middle to go for short walks and it’s close to Waterton. The people we interacted with were great. I had accidentally booked a site without sewer and we were able to change after our first night with no issue.

There were 14 of us, 13 people in tents, using three campsites. Really really enjoyed ourselves. We were there to hike some of the beautiful trails in Waterton Park, and this campsite is literally a few kilometres from the park boundary. The campsite has awesome showers, a place to wash your dishes, a well-stocked store, and friendly staff. We had a campfire each night, which I love, and when we were still yakking after 11 PM, we were told to keep it down. Which is really nice to know that they enforce the rules. Would definitely stay here again.
