We stayed with friends in their camper. The park has a beautiful view. Camp sites include RV with full hook ups or with just water and power and tent sites are avaliable. The bath and shower house was not fancy, but adequate. Activities include: mini golf, hiking, biking, fishing and more. For me the view of the Crooked River was enough.
This Georgia State Park is a wonderful place!!! Chalked full of hidden gems in nature to uncover or discover. The trails are fantastic for biking and hiking. There is a boat ramp, covered picnic areas, rentable pavillions, clean restrooms, a muscle beach workout area, large kids playground area, a very cute Putt-Putt course, camping, cottage rentals! This State Park is a wonderful, peaceful location to unplug from all the world and relax! Short drive from the park into St Mary's, Ga historic quaint city. Loved this Park and will be back!
This is a great park positioned along the picturesque river and oaks. The RV site was very roomy with full hookups. Facilities and amenities were well maintained. Was a great find and we will be back.
Only issue was not having the basics for cooking and broken utensils. We had no frying pan for cooking eggs in the AM or things that don't get cooked in pots!
This state park is amazing with lots of spaces which are huge and lots of trees and trails to explore. Highly recommend staying here. Oct 9 2024 posted #richardgordonartist #pryorvillewoodcraft
