A HIDDEN GEM. We’ve been staying at campgrounds all over USA for over 20 years so I have a lot to compare to this campground. WE LOVED IT!!!! Cross creek is family owned and charming. The sites are spacious and tree lined. It is not on the main road, which is great because it is quiet and peaceful. It is quite a large property. My kids roamed throughout the property on bikes, explored the creek, crossed a walking bridge Over the lake to Duck Island, played minigolf, fished, walked small trails, roasted marshmallows, and generally had the best time. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. You can tell that they love their place and take pride in it. If you are staying in this area, don’t look any further. We would definitely return!

Unwind at this peaceful campground! The owners are incredibly gracious as well as the friendly camp hosts. There is a very nice swimming pool, small lake for fishing with paddle boats, kayaks, and fishing off the dock or shore, clean RV spots, golf, basketball court, clean shower/laundry, and camp office/store. Just a short drive to Lake of Ozarks to take advantage of restaurants, state parks for walking trails, tours of caves, and shopping. Dog friendly campground, perfect for families or a couples getaway! We will definitely be returning to visit with Shelly and Steve, the owners, who live on-site and take pride in providing a safe and welcoming space to relax!

If you have a tent, stop here. This is a one of a kind place, I can only recommend it. Arrived late at night, without calling ahead. Registration was long close but the owners came out and helped me greatly. Other places around have no one on site after 5p.m., not to mention that some RV areas don't even have options for tents. This is the place to enjoy nature. Thank you so much 🙏

Keeping in mind that we're probably a little more particular than the average RV-er. . .at first, we were a little put off by the long, arduous, hilly, narrow, gravel road to get to the campground. Upon arriving at the campground we were immediately greeted by a friendly, helpful seasonal camper that would become known as the standard for those that work and camp here. Upon first glance, our spot looked too small, cramped, and unappealing, but one of the hosts said it was the best spot and we would surely fit with no problems. To that end, he and a group of staff and seasonal campers (can't tell which is which as they are all knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful) took the time to help us turn around on that narrow, gravel road, and back us into our spot. Of course he was right; we woke up the next morning and realized it was just travel fatigue the night before distorting our vision. . .we had ample room to stretch out and the view was phenomenal. It was certainly the best spot! Shortly after setting up we realized that there was no Wifi, spotty cellular coverage, no cable. . .in the 21st century! There goes our nightly family movies and morning email checks. Honestly, it was a great "amenity." Instead of screen time, we spent hours fishing, mastering skipping rocks, feeding ducks, learning shuffle board, swimming, playing miniature golf, and just enjoying the view of the pond from the nice wooden swings while enjoying some ice cream. Oh, and we still got our nightly family movies; just watched old ones downloaded movies as we huddled around our tablet (quality family time) In the end, this was one of the best campgrounds we've ever stayed at; truly enjoyed good ole' fashion camping despite being in a RV. If I had to offer one thing that we didn't like so much it was that the high rate of seasonal campers which can, at times, make you feel like an awkward outsider to an exclusive club with a secret handshake.

Perfect campground!!!!! The area is close enough to get forgotten essentials on the trip but isolated enough that you feel like your on your own island in the woods. Campground was excellently maintained, the camp host helped with EVERYTHING!!!! If you need it he'll make a way to figure it out for you! The bath house looks newly refinished and as a person who only uses shower in the rig, my entire family used bath house and loved the cleaning that happened routinely there! Very clean bath house. They had kids games and activities for our little ones and the pond has plenty of fish. The community is great also, all the other campers were very polite and helpful, even had us over for a dance party!

This is a wonderful RV park. The sites are spaces nicely, the store has everything you might need. The owners are wonderful and helpful and the kitchen makes the best pizza. The washer/dryer didn't work but they let me wash a load with their washer and dryer. On sunday morning they had a a church service that was very inspiring and they have several activies they support. There is about 3 miles of walking trails that were fun. I highly recommend this RV park.
