This place is incredibly unsafe. Proper surveillance and accountability from staff is mismanaged. There isn't a doubt in my mind that the owner is directly responsible for instigating a potentially avoidable situation. Directing a very PASSING (looks and sounds like the gender identity they've transitioned or intending to transition as) transman to use the women's restroom under any circumstances was a terrible call that could've lead to his death ON YOUR OWN CAMPGROUNDS if the police hadn't "intervened." You shouldn't have to tell people what bathroom to go into. Especially if it'll jeopardize their safety. This was a deliberate- or at the very least- absentminded instruction you gave to your customers. Not to mention he got charged for listening to what you told him to do. Absolutely disheartening.
We spent our first night at the campground this past weekend. We had called and wanted a secluded spot away from everyone to just relax. Rick, the owner, mowed out a spot for us. It was big, secluded and quiet. We had a great time. The pond had great fishing. Most people are friendly and helpful. Can’t beat the price!! The only reason I rated a 4 and not a 5 is because there is a lot of junk sitting around. Our site had an old camper, bunch of junk laying around. The bathrooms need updated. Other than that, a great place!
Great place to camp, it offers fishing, swimming and playgrounds. Owner is very accommodating and always there to help.
It's great if your looking for some good ole boys ya know the type of groups that have "good people on both sides"...
Been here for two day's Got a tent site electric & water showers are good people seem nice who stay here The people who run the campsite Go out of there way too help you & too set you up You come here ask for Rick Old school cool working 24/7for this site all you need here is camper's or tents fishing swimming well hell it's beautiful here and if you see a guy with a big flag in front of a tent say hi I'll say Hello back!!!! When I put this down I was just there I spent The whole summer there one of the best Summers of my life went back two other times going back Labor Day if Rick's got a spot for me great place great people looking forward to Camden Ohio.
