This full hookup RV campground is excellent, especially for families with kids who want to enjoy the water park, lake, and go-karts. My only criticism is the lack of shade. It gets pretty brutal when the sun is bright. There's a main building with card games, video games, and even slots, plus they sell drinks. It's air-conditioned and heated, so it's a nice escape, especially for kids.
Treeless, serviceless, no-amenity facility. Forget late arrival support. Crazy rules. The store was just a cooler full of beer. The few campers there were nice. The place looks good online...
We loved staying here! Jean, Kate, & John were all very helpful and kind. The owner, Ben, is awesome too. He's created a fun camping experience for all ages. Very nice and well-kept campground. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely stay here again.
What a trashy place, including the staff!! If I could give negative stars, I would!! We had to cut our trip short – we couldn't wait to leave. Even my 13, 11, and 9-year-old kids wanted to leave. The power kept going out, and our water stopped working. I told the female staff member, and she argued with me, saying she "doesn't understand why we are having so many problems." What a joke!! They have bathrooms, but they keep them locked because people vandalize them. You have to ask someone to unlock them every time! Then they close at 10:00, and you have no access to a bathroom or shower. The female staff member even threatened me! Of course, they denied my request for a partial refund. Don't waste your time – gross campground and rude staff. I'm definitely calling the BBB.
This "campground" is nowhere near trees. It's barely on the outskirts of town. Everything costs extra, so be ready to spend money.
