Nice horse campground with pipe corrals with easy access to water and manure pile with wheelbarrows. Bathrooms and quarter showers. I was also a sand pit for the horses to roll in. Group Campground if not reserved is $70 a night for one spot! Only in California lol If you use the individual overflow spots there $35 a night. We didn't encounter any bears like in the past.
Serenity or group camping, Cuneo Horse camp is the spot! BBQ pits for individual, or huge (I DO mean huge) BBQ pit for group cooking. Restrooms are 90% clean, showers are coin operated. Outhouses are available (there are 2, I believe). Hitching posts for day use areas and in most campsites. Water troughs throughout. Spigots are conveniently located. 2 manure heaps with barrows and forks available. Plenty of trails, from beginner rider to expert endurance rider it's almost always a great time.
Great trails! Lots of wild berries in the summer. Unfortunately they've been restricting camping to files who have horse, even when there are many empty sites.
One of the most beautiful horse camps in California, with amazing trails that wind through some of the old growth redwood forests.
Very clean showers and toilets. And the host lady is very friendly! Lot's of wild animals to be found there aswell
